A.B.C. Associazione per i Bambini Chirurgici del Burlo - onlus (Association for Surgical Children of the Burlo Hospital – non-profit organization) takes care that children hospitalized in the surgery department of the IRCCS Materno Infantile Burlo Garofolo in Trieste and their families can find the support and help they need to face hospitalization and treatment more serenely.

The projects that A.B.C. carries out are aimed at acting in a preventive perspective on the future of surgical children once they leave the hospital.

The project for the realization of the web platform De gusto has obtained funding of 64,997.30 euro from the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia as part of the ERDF OP 2014-2020 call. Activity 2.1.b.1 “Grants for the financing of personalized business pre-incubation and incubation programmes, aimed at the implementation of projects for the creation or development of new businesses characterized by a significant value or by a relevant cultural and/or creative connotation”.
