Collio Bianco - La Mont Brach
From the union of two dynasties comes the new Collio line that takes the name "La Mont-Brach": La Mont in memory of the La Mont Domain owned by the maternal grandparents, Brach in memory of the ancient surname of the paternal ancestors.
This wine is strongly characterised by the presence of Friulano, the unique and inimitable denominator of Friulian blends, which together with the ripe Sauvignon grapes and the markedly aromatic late Malvasia grapes, gives rise to a wine that is absolutely constant throughout the vintages.
A wonderful vineyard located in the south of the Collio D.O.C. area, positioned halfway up a slope overlooking "Ca delle Vallade", the valley that divides Monte Quarin from the hill of Ruttars. The current layout of this Cru was obtained by tilling the land by hand, thus not altering the original contour lines and leaving intact the underlying geological strata, classified as "Flysch di Cormòns" and built from alternating layers of sandstone and marl.
