Crab alla triestina

Difficulty: Easy Doses: For 4 peoples

4 crabs,

1 lemon,

1 tablespoon breadcrumbs,

20 g butter,

1 onion,

a bunch of parsley,

extra virgin olive oil.


The recipe has many variations, as the spider crab (Ragno di mare) was widespread all along the coast and the preparation was affected by the customs of the various local cuisines. The best seasons for eating this 'bowl-sized crab' are spring and summer.
