Wild boar with tomato sauce

Difficulty: Medium Doses: For 4 people

1kg of boneless wild boar meat, 

3 tablespoons of olive oil

2 garlic cloves, 

1 small onion

1 celery stick, 

1 carrot, 

3 sage leaves, 

200g of canned tomato pulp, 

1 glass of white wine, 

1 tablespoon of vegetable broth, 




The wild boar is the wild cousin of the better-known domestic pig. It has organoleptic and nutritional properties similar to pork, with the difference that the typical gamey flavour dominates the aroma of the meat. The marinating and resting before preparation lead to an optimal use of the meat, both for sauces and as a dish.
