Presentation of the newly-established Gorizia Chefs' Association at the hall of the Municipality of Monfalcone, in the former Magistrate's Court building in Piazza della Repubblica.
Thanks to the will of Chef Nevio Lupi and thanks to the support of De Gusto, a brand that deals with the promotion of local food products, the Gorizia Cooks' Association was established for the first time, which will join the already established Udine, Trieste and Pordenone Cooks' Associations.
Important will be the activities that the Association will carry out in the area, through collaboration with the ISIS Pertini Hotel School, with the IAL and the Innovation Yung Youth Centre, and with the commercial and artisan realities of the area.
Cooking courses will be activated and scheduled, for adults as well as for children, under the banner of knowing how to eat well and with quality while respecting the eco-system and sustainability.
The topics that will be addressed will mainly concern the knowledge of traditional local products, their processing and preservation.
An important theme for the Association will be to involve young people, in order to dispel the myth of ‘MasterChef’ and bring them back to the everyday reality where the Chef and his collaborators put passion, love and professionalism into a profession that is one of the cornerstones of Italian culture.
