Plums of Castelnovo del Friuli

The plum of Castelnovo del Friuli belongs to the cultivar cespes (wild plum).
It is an oval fruit, elongated. It has an average weight of 30 - 40 g.
The skin, dark violet in colour, is smooth, with a light flour covering the fruit. The flesh has a yellow - orange color, medium texture and consistency. In the centre, the plum's pit is small, elongated ellipsoidal in shape, with a pointed apex.
