Sweet and sour cabbage

Ingredients

1 cabbage of about 1 kg,

4 tablespoons olive oil,

50 g of butter,

1 onion,

50 g of bacon stretched in a single slice,

½ glass of vinegar,

1 teaspoon of sugar,

2 teaspoons of vegetable broth,

salt,

pepper.

Introduction

A biennial plant belonging to the Crocifere family, the cabbage has smooth and compact leaves, which when firmly tightened, form a ball. It is found on the market all over the year, both in the light variety (alba) and in the red variety (rubra), whose leaves have a purple colour.
