Description
The soft goat cheese, derived from goat milk, has an elongated cylindrical shape, about 4/5cm in diameter and 10/12cm high. This type of cheese can be made from a simple paste or mixed with local aromatic herbs.
It is called in different ways, depending on the production area, such as soft jama or kozji žmiteka in the Karst areas on the border with Slovenia.
